Pastors work hard. Many bi-vocational pastors put in 60 - 70 hours a week so that they can pastor in their local church, while still working a full time job to pay the bills. Some churches do not have enough to pay for a full time pastor. Some pastors have made a philosophical decision to be bi-vocational so that they can free up monies that their churches would normally pay them so that the church can fund other ministry expressions.  I started Pastor4Hire, as a bi-vocational pastor myself so my father and I can connect with people who are looking for general contractor services in the greater Sacramento area.  One way you can help local churches in your area is by hiring a pastor.
